Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) is a non-profit, charitable organization supporting people with developmental disabilities across New Tecumseth, Essa, Adjala-Tosorontio, and parts of Bradford-West Gwillimbury and Innisfil.
Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, CLASS provides innovative programs and services that promote independence, skill development, and community inclusion. Social enterprises such as CLASSic Lunchbox and CLASSy Canine Cookies offer meaningful opportunities for paid employment while strengthening local connections.

FOCUS Community Development Corporation is a community-based non-profit agency established in 1985 whose purpose is to enhance employment and training opportunities in the Simcoe County, Barrie and York Region area. FOCUS has offices in Alliston, Angus, Wasaga Beach and maintains itinerant services in Tottenham. FOCUS maintains a staffing complement of 18 with backgrounds in career counselling, social work, and human resources.
The services delivered by FOCUS are split between staff dedicated to helping individuals find work and an employer services division that supports the employer in recruiting appropriate workers and providing human resource support. In fulfilling the Mission Statement, “FOCUS gets people working,” the client’s employment, education and training goals form the basis of the service each client receives, and the organization’s resources are used fairly, effectively, and efficiently.
FOCUS delivers the Integrated Employment Ontario Program and the Canada Ontario Jobs Grant for the New Tecumseth, Adjala-Tosorontio, Essa, and Wasaga Beach areas.
